Hiya!
I am wondering about functionality within Resolve's Fairlight page.
For a specific workflow that I have (which I completely understand is non-standard), I am synchronizing Ableton Live to Davinci via timecode generated in the Fairlight window.
I find myself reaching for the cinema viewer while in Fairlight to get a better idea of the result and I realize that many commands for playback (play/pause, go to beginning) are unavailable.
Is this expected behaviour from the Fairlight page?
Cinema viewer in the Cut or Edit pages seem to be responsive to common shortcuts.
I've also found External sync in the sync settings to be pretty unreliable or glitchy, so I opted to generate timecode within Davinci... This may also be due to weird third-party programs generating timecode in incompatible ways.
I somewhat understand Fairlight to be the black sheep of Resolve, but is there any way to get more functionality in Fairlight?
I would love to stay within the Edit page, but I can't generate timecode from there...
Thanks!
