HDR Specular not accessible on Mini Panel W/Resolve 19.1.3

Hi everyone, just wanting to know if this is a bug in Resolve 19.1.3 OR the Mini Panel's firmware 2.2.1?

I just bought a new Mini Panel and l cannot access the HDR Specular page on the LCDs on the panel and nor can l access it via any of the Trackballs/Rings. I know it is accessible from this MixingLight video back in 2021 and also from Darren Mostyn's Mini Panel feature 1 year ago.

So is this a bug currently in Resolve 19 ???

OK this is a bug and it's not isolated to Resolve 19. Basically what happens if you have any situation where the small Active Zone icons show 4 instead of 3 then you won't be able access the Specular Zone on either of the LCD screens or any of the 3 Track Balls or Rings on the Mini Panel.

In my situation it was because l have a 49" Dell Ultra-wide monitor and when Resolve fills the monitor you see 4 Active Zone icons, when l minimise the Resolve's window width to about 75% of the monitors width you only see 3 Active Zone icons, and only then can you access the Specular Zone on the left LCD and makes changes with right Track Ball & Ring. If you widen Resolve's window size the left LCD will change back to Highlights and the right Track Ball & Ring will only affect the Highlight Zone.


Apparently on a non ultra wide monitor if you collapse the view so you don't see the centre block of tools, then you get the 4 x active zones and when it's like this, you have the same issue. No way to access Specular via the Mini Panel. This has been confirmed to me by Blackmagic support here in Australia.
