Import Premiere Pro project?

PostSat Apr 19, 2025 3:25 pm

I tried using Resolve to offline my project. Unfortunately, Resolve doesn't automatically sync media which is a pain. Premiere Pro does, which is my I am using it to cut my project. My question: Is there a way to import a Premiere Pro project into Resolve?

You can import a Premiere timeline using XML, but not an entire project.

What makes me believe this is that my project doesn't automacitcally sync to my media. I have used various NLE systems and never had this issue of having to manually sync media everytime time I open a project. This is a moot point now. I went back to Premiere Pro where I will do my offline and then use Resolve for color grading.

I'm not the genius Resolve expert many are here, but i have no idea what your talking about resolve not syncing media to a project . You should explain what you're doing in some more detail because Resolve works very well for editing and that sounds like some kind of huge basic mistake. IMHO Premiere is more of of a PITA these days.,

I will tell you one thing though . If you want to sync up to resolve from Premiere - don't change the names of your files in Premiere. That will making syncing from an XML difficult and frustrating .
