The magic mask v2 still does not work great with hair - we need refine mask controls like Aftereffects has. I find myself adding a lot of blur/denoise to try and fix blend this better, but then that doesn't work well with the well-defined edges of non-hair. Also if something like hair goes off screen slightly, the AI will not consider that it should have a consistent shape, and the edges of the screen for the hair are chattery and messed up. There should be a lot more work to keep the mask temporally consistent. Even if we have to subtract/add an area for a frame, it doesn't try to find that in the neighboring frames or previous frames, it must be done per-frame, which may resolve to something slighlty different each frame, which doesn't look correct. So basically have more temporal consistency. Also we need motion blur support for the masks, because the edges are incorrect when subjects have motion blur. We also need this in the Fusion page. It would be helpful to add tooltips on all the matte controls.
The new Depth Maps are improved, but please take a look at the research for "Depth Craft AI", which is much better. If a character moves around, the background depth changes, which doesn't make any sense. It's unusable in many shots for me - also needs to support motion blur because there are artifacts at the edges and provide more matte controls on the node.
