Windows on ARM got zero love when the Snapdragon X chips launched. It was a complete dog's breakfast.

I haven't heard much on it since.

Sadly it seems very much chicken and egg. Microsoft isn't putting work into the software because no one is buying the hardware. No one is buying the hardware because the software stack is non-existent.

Apple had the luxury of forcing everyone to jump ship whether they wanted to or not and has done great at it.
