Source viewer Clear In point

PostSun Apr 27, 2025 4:25 pm

It's not possible to see if I have an In point set in my source viewer if it's actually set at the first frame, it now looks identical to if I cleared the In point

The default In/out points are always the full extent of the clip. Clearing them just returns you to that state.

Not quite... If an In is set, at the beginning or anywhere else, then the In is respected in a three point edit - but if there's no In set then the Out will be back timed when doing a three point edit.

Ahh, got ya.

But, whether it's set intentionally or by default, it still looks the same visually. Soooo....was that not always true in previous versions? Are you thinking you'd like to make a Feature Request?

It used to look subtlety different, a tiny virtical mark if it was set.
