Installed beta 2 and (re)tested a video that I tried earlier. Not a very good experience still..
Observations:
- perhaps minor improvement in render speed, GPU (Arc 140) still not very well loaded (see load profile below)
- first time I (re)track, the pop-window just show "Tracking" (no speed/time estimate) and either this step takes "forever" or I'm just impatient but seems this step never completes on the first try. GPU hardly loaded (a few % points), CPU at 20% (Resolve mostly), memory 16/32 so no resource exhaustion.
- when I stop this step, seems something continues in the background (even thought the pop-window does disappear), if I try to restart tracking, there is a message over the preview that says that "Tracking in progress. Stop tracking". CPU load is on-going so something is happening in the background that the "Stop" does not stop.
- After a while (think minute), the background task seems to complete I now when I start tracking it does though the first phase (which just says "Tracking" in the pop-up quicky and then actually starts to track.
Test setup:
Intel 258 CPU + Arc 140 GPU, all latest drivers, Windows 11.
Tracking a person with 5 "dots", Faster, all defaults.
4k H.264 4:2:0 source, tracking in vertical window crop
Effective tracking speed shown as 0 fps (when with V19 it was around 4-6)
