"render in place" does not keep timecode?

PostWed Apr 30, 2025 1:55 pm

Hi,
I just figured, that "render in place" sets it's own timecode on that file.
Even if I want to manually change it, the media goes offline, so this new timecode position is necessary to Resolve...

that's a pity, because I could theoretically use such a rendered (at full resolution) as a new file somewhere else... (yes, I could render the clip on the delivery page as well... but much more hassle, also with the TC)

greets
Mike

In the version 20 Beta, we can once again add our own Presets to the Quick Export panel.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
