Gyroflow is not working in Fusion

PostSun May 04, 2025 5:17 am

Gyroflow is a regular part of my workflow as I use FPV drones all the time and integrate my footage into projects. My typical use is adding Gyroflow to a clip within Fusion. My result with 20 and 20.2 is not so hot. Gyroflow acts sort of like it is using gyro data from another file? So weird jumps everywhere. In the standalone program I get silky smooth results. So it is not my drone or my settings. Gyroflow does seem to work fine in the edit page. But it has serious limitations here with frame rate mismatch, size mismatch and retiming. In the past fusion handled this with ease and was super fast to use.

Yeah, I have the same problem. I imported the footage into DaVinci, loaded GyroFlow in Edit, Fusion, and the standalone app in all situations. The standalone app performed better and showed significantly more stabilization when I enabled "Stabilization overview". In Davinci, Gyroflow just basically cropped in and doesn't have any actual stabilization with the footage.

So, what I did was, I just stabilized everything in the standalone app, and exported it as H265/HEVC for 10bit422, and then imported it into Davinci Resolve. Although I would love to only work with one application and on my original footage.
