I was able to edit, grade, and sweeten audio all day yesterday without issues, then once I was doing a curves adjustment on color curve adjustment on a clip, Resolve crashed and I couldn't open the project from launch Project Manager again. It would show up but once I click it, it would appear to load at first but Resolve just silently closes before I see anything.
I had feeling that it could be related to the project opening on the Color page so I opened another project, switched to the Edit page, then loaded the project I wanted to work on. That worked via the Recent Projects menu or the Project Manager.
Once I was in the project, I could view and scrub through source clips, change and scrub through other timelines but the scrubbing through the main timeline would cause Resolve to crash instantly. I tried making a copy of the timeline and scrubbing through that one crashed Resolve as well. Then I made a new timeline and copied the contents of the problematic timeline into the new timeline. I seem to be able to edit the new timeline without issues. I could even save the project.
Just to be safe, I tried to save it as a new project and that caused Resolve to crash as well. I figured it was probably because the problematic timelines were still in the project so I deleted them. Now I was able to save it as a new project without it crashing. I still can't launch the new project from the Project Manager at launch though. So after doing exactly what I did before to launch it, I tried making an adjustment to a grade... and that crashed it, too.
It seems like it's taking a particular issue with a specific grade on a specific clip because scrubbing through that clip crashes Resolve, but if I copy that grade over to another clip, I play through that clip and make adjustments to the grade without it crashing.
I'm using Linux with an Intel Arc card. Yea, I know it's not a supported configuration but I feel like this is unrelated to my setup and just some kind of weird project corruption since I played back the clip in question probably 50 times yesterday with the same grade the whole time.
