I have used the Magic Mask 2 extensively on my latest project and some quirks have turned up. I'm currently on beta 3, but had the same issues on beta 2.
Magic Mask 2 by itself works fairly well, except for that it can become confused when the light changes and a shadow falls over the masked background. That can result in a flickering. I have tried to use the minus tool, maybe it's my lacking knowledge, but I never got it to work properly over those areas.
A thing that I believe to be a bug is that when leaving the colour panel for additional editing and later returning, the mask needs to be reprocessed. It's not keeping the mask when entering back into the colour panel, although the selected points are still there.
Another issue is that after having used the Magic Mask 2 and then wishing to output the sequence in the export panel, the system begins reprocessing the mask before output, and seemingly stops the output. The processing just keeps going and nothing else happens. The workarounds for both those problems mentioned that I used was to render a new file on the timeline, before making an output.
I'm working on PC, i9, rtx3090. The media used was Red Raw R3D files.
