Caching issues in Fusion

PostWed May 14, 2025 8:41 am

Caching in Fusion seems to be suffering in this release, a quick example I had was using the TimeSpeed node to freeze frame a section of footage and then merging with the same footage that isn't frozen, masks are applied to certain areas to make one image. but further down the node tree when applying a mask to an effect it renders out the whole frozen screen on output.
Another issue was using the TimeSpeed node to make a speed ramp in Fusion Using the Flow setting, it was going nowhere, ended up speed ramping in a different edit timeline and then re importing into Fusion.
Generally it feels very buggy compared to v19. But I'm still loving it, keep up the great work. All the new features are great, but please don't forget stability over new features. This is where Adobe gets it so wrong.
