bin duplication bug

v20 beta 3. Moving assets in bins randomly duplicates them. In the video here, you can see that 1 copy of each asset gets multiplied 6, 8, even 10 times. It's a mess.

Is anything set to Automatically Resync?

Jim: Yes, I do have automatic re-syncing turned on. Surely that doesn't also function as "Repeatedly copy the same files over and over everywhere." I have that on to, presumably(?), keep the bins sync'd when I add assets.

I did go back in and manually delete all of the duplicated files so I'm not sure if the logs will be of much help. Thanks for looking into this.

If a bin is set to match what's in a folder on the hard drive...and the contents of that folder haven't changed...

Yeah, I can see this being the "intended" result.
