I'm having an odd issue with Resolve where my viewers in all modes. (Edit, Color, etc...) remain blank when working on my machine with an AMD GPU (RX 7900 XTX) and ACES. The same projects / workflows work fine on my other machine with an Nvidia GPU (RTX 3090).
I've nailed it down to being an ACES-specific issue. Whenever the color management is set to ACES or I use an ACES transform effect, the viewers go blank / black. Playback is still happening, but nothing appears in the viewer.
If I use a regular "Color Space Transform" and say set the input to AcesCG for my exr's in a non-ACES color managed workflow, everything works as expected.
Everything was working fine until recently, so I'm thinking it might be a newer AMD driver issue. Just wanted to post here in case someone else is experiencing something similar.
I've uploaded my logs so if there's anyone from the Resolve team reading this, hopefully it's useful information. I'm on Arch so I can imagine I'm a bit ahead in drivers of what Resolve expects, and that's fine, I accept I'm on a non-supported distro. But it might be a good indication of some issue that's coming down the pipe for Linux users that are on slower releasing ones.
