Experiences with MCP (Model Context Protocol)

Are there any experiences how MCP (Model Context Protocol) to adapt Resolve for use with LLMs (Large Language Models) can bring real benefits?
I'm curious about what the actual applications could be. I can imagine some things with Fusion, but I have my doubts about the other areas.

So it’s basically an API for an LLM to twiddle your host application, right? In broad strokes the applications would be the same as a user can do (all host functionality, if implemented and allowed). In my simplistic understanding it isn’t much different from the LLM splurting out code and executing it in host, except the interface is formed differently, using tools (a bit hazy to me what a tool in MCP means) and whatnot, not just API commands and data structures.
