Smart Reframe

PostMon May 19, 2025 1:56 pm

Is there a way in Smart Reframe to adjust the strength of the tracking? It follows the face too precisely. I don't mind if the person occasionally leans or moves slightly out of frame. Maybe there is a workaround through fusion?

In general, in version 20, everything is much better if a person doesn't move too much.

Smart re-frame is like intelitracker that either works in auto or manual targeting mode. Once its done tracking it sets keyframes for you to adjust if you want to. They are meant to be in key locations so the interpolation between them is smooth while still on point. Once the keyframes are made you can manually adjust them if you want to. Its just an assistant. Its a great tracker. It can track anything if you don't mess up the process yourself. I've seen people use is in all the wrong ways and it will fail, because they made it fail. If you use it sensibly it will track almost anything.
