Why not have a user account like Bitwig for licenses

What to do if a pc get a blue screen, and the new pc will not de-registre the old activation?
Maybe a stupid topic?
I read that sometimes the third activation will not remove the first one. What if I loose my card from the Speed Editor box?

You get two. If both are used and you forget/can't deactivate them, then the third activation will simply nullify the first two. If that goes awry for some reason, you could probably call Support.

Keep the card and a copy of your Activation Key in separate safe places in case you need it. Losing it will normally mean buying the Key again. Though as you got it along with the Speed Editor it will be linked to the SE's serial number. If you have your original invoice BMD may be able to help.

What's so difficult to make a scan (or a digital photograph) from card and license and put it into an Open-Source password safe like Keepass (available for all Operating Systems) and sync them with all your devices (Syncthing etc.). Even if your PC and house burns down to the ground - you still have a copy on your mobile device.

Just my 10cents on this matter. Have a nice sunday.

Treat the card like cash. I also take a picture with my iphone and can later search 'Resolve' and it'll find the image.

And yes, installing it a third time will deactivate install 1. They supposedly put a cap on how many times you can do this but I've never hit that. Probably needs to "seem" like you're regularly using 3 computers which is a fair paywall.
