Forgive my upfront lack of evidence - I will do my best to provide as needed
In Summary:
When adding a smooth cut > playback will come to a halt
Work around fix > switch the playback resolution to half then press play > switching the playback resolution to full will allow the playback to play without any issues, even at full resolution
Timeline is in 1080p
I figured this was a bug since by me switching between the playback resolutions, I was able to unfreeze the playback after having added the Smooth cut
I have a 275hx Intel CPU and a 5090 Laptop GPU. All Nvidia drivers updated.
Using Studio 20.0B Beta 4 Build 48
