Hi!
So far I'm really enjoying the AI Multicam switch. When set right it is pretty responsive to individual speakers. The only thing that's frustrating is that the options for the "wide shot" only include using it for intro/outro and silence. The switcher never uses it any other time. So, in any passage where multiple people are speaking at once or in quick succession, I have to manually go through and switch to the wide shot to capture everyone at once. Mind you, my wide shot doesn't have audio because it's just a split screen of the individual tracks.
It would be really nice to have the option to use the wideshot whenever audio is firing on multiple tracks at once within a set amount of time. There are almost always moments where everyone reacts at the same time, or talks in succession too quickly to justify back and forth cuts. Ultimately, if the multicam switcher knows to switch camera's based on when individual audios become active, it would seem it could be made to sense when more than one audio is active at the same time and overlapping, defaulting to the wideshot in those cases. If this was a 3rd "tickbox" option for using the wide shot that would be awesome.
For reference I'm using audio-only detection, so if someone has had luck with making this work with the video + audio scan I'm all ears. I just haven't had the time to test that, knowing it's likely to take a while vs the 3:00 it takes to scan (4) 1hr+ clips.
So far 20 is really awesome and I haven't even touched the tip of the iceberg with new features. This is just the thing I've been waiting for and this ONE addition to it's features would make it almost perfect.
