DaVinci Resolve19 Unable to Initialize GPU on AMD system

Hello! I downloaded the most recent build of DaVinci Resolve 19, but every time I try to open the program, I get the "Unable to initialize GPU" error. When I do go and try to update the program so it uses the discrete driver and restart, there is no change. Unfortunately I'm just stuck.

I've looked up a couple troubleshooting guides and updated my graphic card drivers, allowed DaVinci to use my computer at high performance settings on my system, and reinstalled, but nothing helps. Many of these videos/posts that I saw utilized NIVIDIA drivers rather than my AMD ones, so maybe that affects things.

My computer specs are below; I've also read that my system may be too weak to handle the program or not fit the parameters necessary, so if anyone can recommend an older version of Resolve that works for my system, I would be very grateful.
I've also included a screenshot of what I have checked, just in case I've done something obviously wrong, haha

In a File Explorer window, go to:

C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve

and run CaptureLogs

This will place a Resolve log file named similar to this on your Windows Desktop: DaVinci-Resolve-logs-20181228_140434.zip (You may not see the .zip extension if your system is set to hide known extensions).

Then open the Windows System Information app and do a File - Save (Not a File Export), which will generate a .NFO file.

Place both those files on a file sharing site and provide links to the files here. Make sure the links don't require access credentials.

If you are a new Forum user, you may not be allowed to post URLs. If this happens, just put a space near the front of the URL, so the system doesn't think it's a URL.

I am a new forum user and although I did put a space in front of the urls, it kept saying i'm not allowed to post them. Sorry for the added trouble.

I believe the trick is to put a space *near* the front of the URL. Like htt p://xxxxx instead of http://xxxx

It appears you have your display connected to the onboard graphics port. All displays need to be connected to the RX580 card. Move the display to the RX580 and see if that helps.

Also, it looks like you initially had an older AMD Crimson driver installed. But the 25.5.1 driver that's now installed should be good.

If you still have issues after moving the display to the RX580, please send another NFO and Resolve diagnostics log.

Wow did I feel dumb when I checked my monitor connection-- thanks so much! Plugging my display into the right port worked, it now works like a dream. Thank you!
