Clip usage times export csv

PostSat May 24, 2025 11:37 pm

Hi, is there a way to generate a csv report of clips used from the media pool including the timeline in/out and source in/out? Including instances when different parts of the clip are used at different points in the timeline.

I'm inventorying archival footage to license in a project that I did not edit. I'm presently going to each clip in the timeline and manually logging that information into an excel sheet.

I've seen the usage window that shows the timecode of each instance of a clip's usage but did not find a way to export that or obtain durations.

I've read a number of posts here but am still seeking an answer.

Many thanks!

You can do this with the Edit Index, but it only works at the timeline level. I'm not aware of any way to do it from the Media Pool for all clips.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
