Resolve 19 + RTX 4060 + Ubuntu = CUDA/OpenCL options missing

PostThu May 29, 2025 2:04 pm

Before I try Resolve 20, I want to get 19 working.

19 starts with Unsupported GPU Process Mode dialog. I click to Update Configuration and uncheck Auto. There are no options in the dropdown. There are no GPUs listed. This is an nVidia hybrid setup. I verified Resolve is running with the nVidia GPU using nvtop.

nvidia-smi reports:
NVIDIA-SMI 550.144.03 Driver Version: 550.144.03 CUDA Version: 12.4

Resolve is started with environmental variables:
__NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia

The one thing done to get it running on Ubuntu 24.04 is executing this command:
sudo mv libglib-2.0.so* libgio-2.0.so* libgmodule-2.0.so* disabled_libs/

Was too much moved? What steps should I take?
