GUI, Media Pool, Effects Placement Question...

Now before everyone jumps down my throat, I know this is a new account, I just created it, but I've been using DaVinci for almost two years now, and all that time I've had my Media Pool on the left hand side of the window with the Effects on the bottom half below it. My machine had the i9 Micro-code issue and I had to reload the O/S and as a result I had to perform a completely clean re-install of DaVinci from scratch (I don't have the previous install and configuration).

I've worked in IT for 30+ years and know my way around a machine or two, so before you tell me to RTM (which I've already looked through) or Google it (which I've done as well), I've spent the last two days trying to figure out how to get the effects library back on the bottom half of the left hand side of the screen under the media pool. ChatGPT has been completely useless because it keeps telling me to grab a Tab that simply isn't there and I'm about ready to pull my hair out... I know it's possible because I've had it set that way for the past two years and I can't for the life of me remember or find in any of the settings how I got it set that way. Any advice, video's or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

A quick update, I DID find one workaround, I DID load an older project that did have the layout I wanted and saved that as a layout template which I can load going forward, but it's extremely frustrating and unless I had a previous project to load I don't know how I would have gotten that configuration back...

A screen shot of what you currently have would be helpful.

I assume you are on the Edit page?

Should be as simple as selecting the Effects option at the top of the screen.
