Linux Control Panels setup

PostFri May 30, 2025 10:21 pm

I installed DaVinci Resolve Studio 19.4 on Ubuntu 24.04.
Also I did an upgrade to DaVinci Resolve Studio 20.

On my system both Resolve versions do not start the DaVinci Control Panels setup from under the Help menu within Resolve.

The DaVinci Control Panels setup app does start from the shortcut created. Also my Speed Editor is correctly recognized.

I checked my system logbook.
It mentions:

Sender systemd-udevd
Message usr/lib/udev/rules.d/75-davincipanel.rules:2 Unknown group 'resolve', ignoring.
Priority 3

Could this be related?
