Keyframe issue was not solved

PostFri May 30, 2025 7:28 am

You guys made a great panel for the keyframes but yet why can't we choose both clips and synchronize those keyframes?

Meaning - I can't select more than one clip with keyframes and see those clips keyframes simultaneously.
It's a feature we had with the older form of keyframe management. why is it gone now?

There are multiple threads on this subject already, Ido.
For the time being you have the choice of installing v20 and a) waiting for the missing functionality to be implemented and/or b) doing any such work that requires it in the Fusion page ... or staying on v19 until the functionality you need in v20 is added.

Yeah man... the question if this thin won't get ignored
The Keyframe management is way much better and much more easy on eyes.
Just hope they will add it again in the next update.

Without commenting in the simplicity of doing it, I find the Keyframe Tray will get the job done.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Thanks Ido and Andy.

Too, at least for iPad users, there’s a problem working with existing projects that use features such as keyframe easing

Because I have been asked this scores of times, this link explains how to access all the Resolve pages on iPads:

Please don't thread-jack Ken, it's incredibly rude.

An additional huge (at least to me) keyframe issue, and I wonder if others are experiencing the same problem or if it's just a fluke on my iMac.
Until DR20 you could click on a keyframe in the Edit page and type in a + or minus value to move the keyframe left or right by that precise number of frames. This no longer works. Now if I click on a keyframe and type in a + or - value, instead of the keyframe moving, the whole clip moves left or right on the timeline. The same thing happens when I try to nudge a keyframe using the , and . keys. The entire clip moves on the timeline. This is true in both the keyframe editor panel and the keyframe tray.

Moving keyframes left or right with extreme precision was much easier when you could simply type in an increment. That feature really needs to be restored. Again, is this just a fluke on my computer, or is it an issue with DR20?

In addition, wouldn't it be nice if a little window popped up in the keyframes panels that counts the number of frames when you slide a keyframe -- just like the window that pops up when you move or trim a clip on a timeline.
