Bluring on the edit page

PostWed Jun 04, 2025 4:51 am

Hello there,

I am using Windows with resolve studio 20.

I want to blur the same spot on multiple clips. Is there a way I can just drag and drop the effect and transform it on the edit page. Just like an adjustment clip.

Currently when I drag any effect on the adjustment clip it effects the entire frame and not just the spot. To make this work I have to go to the color page work with power window. Which is a click to many IMO.

Surely there is another way of doing in on the edit page.

Do let me know.

Thanks

You can use a Shared Node to get the same effects on all clips.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

I'm sure you could create a reusable Fusion effect for this as well - one that has a built-in mask.
