Cintel 16mm scan crashes saving to drive

Hi all,
I'm trying to scan a 16mm film reel using our Cintel scanner. When scanning it crashes and gives the error: "DaVinci Resolve could not write to the selected storage device".
DaVinci can write to this drive as it is typically a minute or two into the scan where it stops. The drive is a Pegasus 32 R8 with 26tb of free capacity and is connected via Thunderbolt 3 to our Mac Studio M2.
When I send the scans to the local storage it scans succesfully, however, this is not viable for us as we are expecting at least 20tbs of footage.
I have updated the Cintel Scanner drivers (6.1) and we are running Resolve Studio 19.

I'd appreciate if anyone had any suggestions on how to get this sorted!

Hi Mathew,
As the error message implies its a write error issue to your TB connected Drive; As its running OK to local, and writes OK for a period to the external drive, I would look at what else is on your TB bus. The Mac Studio has 4, so what buses are shared, so you can load balance / manage.
Double check your USBC cables are speed rated -
