Turn Off Timeline in Color?

Is there a way to do this? It's quite annoying.

Yes there is a way. Use the button top right called "Timeline" that turns it off & on. There are a few options there for various interface panels to be turned on & off.
Resolve 20.0 Mac OSX 15.5 Sequoia, Monitor 3G, FSI SDI grading monitor.
