Hi, I'm new to these forums but I've been using DaVinci for a while to edit my tutorials where I teach 3D.
The problem I have is when I need to edit very long videos about 3D, where I give explanations and then do demonstrations without speaking (I can't be commenting all the time). When I use the "Remove Silent Portions" tool, it removes the silences as its name suggests.
Is there a way for this tool to just cut the silent parts instead of removing them completely, so I can export the video already split? Something like "Cut Silent Portions." That way I could evaluate which parts of the video are only silence and which ones are where I'm actually teaching something.
Thanks.
