No frame available for mediaout 1 when copying text

PostTue Jun 10, 2025 3:06 pm

I am using Davinci Resolve 19, and when copying text from other projects, the last frame is black with 'no frame available for mediaout 1'. The text is Text+ but does not make use of any fusion elements. Anyone know how to solve this?

I have found a way to solve the issue, although I do still believe this is a bug that needs looking into.
In the fusion panel I entered a number one higher than the global out, even though it was already stretched to fit the whole clip:

Try the following - open Text+ on the Fusion page, select the Text+ node (Or Template), look in the inspector for Global In/Out parameters - make sure the Out parameter is on the last frame of the composition

In all the cases it was, I forgot to attach the before screenshot.

Also try adding a KeyframeStretcher node at the end of the Fusion tree, just before the MediaOut
