ipad davinci remote connection with IP address

I'm still in 19 at the office station, so i dont remember if anything changed in 20, but this is the setup i would like to achieve:

main system is at the office, behind a firewall
forticlient in (or whatever VPN you use)
main system "remote monitoring without blackmagic cloud"
once in, remote monitoring using the IP of the machine to get the feed in teh Ipad.

it works form a window machine at home with no issues... but I cannot tell the resolve remote monitoring in teh ipad to use an IP, it asks for a code...

what am I missing?

a setting... I'm missing a setting...

in the Ipad you have to go in the settings, and there is a setting that say "use without cloud" and after that you can use an IP....

and it works....

so, if I have to choose, I would like that setting to be in teh GUI itself, not buried in the general setting of the Ipad...
