Timeline & compound clip in V20

Hi everyone,

I've recently upgrade to V20 and I notice that now you can drag and drop a timeline into another timeline and by doing that it will transform that in a compound clip.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you could do that in previous versions?
If that's not the case what's the point of choosing between the two?

I'm genuinely confused as I've always used compound clip to group sub sections of my project to then added them into the main timeline.

Not sure that's a compound clip, just a nested timeline, which has always been possible.
