Sound library and Da Vinci Studio 20

PostThu Jun 19, 2025 8:01 pm

I have been using the free version of Da Vinci for a while and today upgraded to the Studio 20 version.

However on the previous free version I had downloaded the free sound library which includes for example a camera shutter sound effect and also some music sounds like "Across the liffy.

Even though I have downloaded the Fairlight sound library on my new Studio 20 version it only has 500 sound fx and it does not include a lot of the previous sounds I had on the free version.

I have tried to figure it out myself but I can't see how to resolve this? I can't even work out where my other sounds are in relation to the free version to see if I can add them the new version :?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

The "Fairlight Sound Library 1.0" includes 515 source media files.

Did you manually add the source media to a database (perhaps containing audio media from other sample libraries) or were you using the "Fairlight Sound Library" database within Resolve?
Mac Pro 7,1 Rack • Resolve Studio 20.0.1 • macOS 15.5 (24F74)
