No means of entering my activation licence key

PostThu Jul 03, 2025 4:20 pm

I have Resolve Studio 20 installed on my PC. I've just installed Resolve Studio 20 on my new Mac Mini Pro but there is nowhere for me to activate my licence. The pop up box didn't appear during the installation.
On the PC the activate licence is under the help menu. It's not there on The Mac. Nor under the Davinci Resolve menu.
I'm getting a Davinci Resolve Studio splash screen across my project window. Also a pop up box saying 'you have reached a limitation with Davinci Resolve Studio'

Any ideas?

Seems you've installed the wrong version on your Mac, DaVinci Resolve instead of DaVinci Resolve Studio.
You need to head back to the BMD support page, download the "Studio" version and reinstall.

Can you share a screenshot of the Davinci -> About screen?
