Are you saying Resolve will not crash if it is started and you load a project, but will when you try to import media to the media pool?

Can you provide all the details about the media?

I am having the same thing - I have video files which are mp4 or mov's which have come from Mac or converted on my PC and as soon as I import them the system complains that the timeframe does not match and Resolve crashes
