change multicam angle in source mode

PostTue Apr 17, 2018 12:32 pm

I'm experimenting with the edit functions in resolve, and im struggling a little bit with the multicam tools.

I have a multicam clip, and a few cuts. now i want to change/add some cuts. is it possible, when i click on a clip, to change that into another angle with a shortcut? when i right-click on it, i can say ''change multicam clip angle'' and then just click on the desired angle, but thats not really a convenient/visual way of working. like in premiere, i can just press the 1 to 9 on the keyboard, or double click the multicam and click in the source viewer on the desired angle.

i know it is possible to do that in multicam-mode, with alt pressed. (that little dropdown menu beneath the source viewer), but in that way the playback is in most cases a little too slow. so switching between those modes is still a little wonky.

also, is it possible to convert compound clips into multicam clips? that would be great for preparing a more complex multiclip.
