Add option that audio import defaults to mono channels

With external audio-recorders that use 2 or 6 tracks Resolve automatically sets those tracks to Stereo or 5.1 format. Is there a way to make Resolve at import make all audio channels as mono?

I know I can change this afterwards in Clip Attributes but I would be nice to have this option at import as well. 2 Tracks isn't always stereo and 6 tracks isn't always 5.1 surround.
