Converting a project from Studio to Free

PostThu Apr 19, 2018 6:10 pm

Hey all,
I am doing the finishing touches on a project from a colorist who worked in DaVinci Resolve Studio 14.

I do not have the Studio version and, though he turned off any premium Studio features in his project, I am getting an error message when attempting to open his project on my end.

In the Project Manager window, I import his project.
When I double click to open, I am met with the "You have reached a limitation with DaVinci Resolve" error message.

Is there any way to export a project from Studio to reopen in a Free version?
I swear I've done it before without any sort of issues.
Please help!
Thank you in advance!
