Audio Errors on Export

PostWed Apr 25, 2018 2:10 am

Just finished a project on Resolve 15b including the Edit, Color, some Fusion FX and Audio.

When i render the timeline, the video renders perfectly but the audio is going off and on every few seconds.

If i deactivate the video on export and render just the audio, it renders correctly.

I tried rendering separately an audio file and a video file and use those new files to create a new timeline so that i can render them together but even the new render has the same problem.

System Specs:
Windows 10 x64 build1709
CPU: Threadripper 1950x 32GB
GPUs: GTX 1080Ti 11GB, GTX 1070 8GB

Temporary solution: Desktop Restart

Project rendered correctly after a system restart. This is probably a memory leak issue connected with Fusion because up until i added those FX shots it was rendering normally.

After a few hours of work it starts having this issue again and a new restart is required before i can render correctly.

if you want this to have any decent chance of being fixed, always post FULL system specs, there's a sticky forum post that goes into what is required. Best to have it in your sig like me so you don't forget.

I am 99% sure that this issue is not hardware related but i added the specs anyway. ;)

Is this on v15 beta 1?
What codec are you rendering too?
Frame rate?

Yes this was on v15 BETA1.

Project framerate is 25fps. Render settings also at 25fps.

Codecs tested were H264 and DNxHD 1080p 444

Now I am using beta2. Audio is rendering without cutting on/off at the moment but final export is rendering certain audio clips with clicks at the beginning and ending off the clip. Clicks are random sounding. Meaning that if I render the video again the clicks will be in slightly different places
