Zoom shortcuts not working

I've mapped the timeline zoom shortcuts to + and - respectively, but they aren't doing anything. When I hit the keys all that happens is a bunch of ===== fill up in the timecode area of the Record monitor.

Anyone else seeing this?

Yep. BMD have hard coded those keys for timecode navigation. The only way to make them work properly is to click above the timeline so it's not active.

I prefer the way Adobe handles this. The main keys work zoom, the numpad keys work navigation.
