VU meters on the edit page

PostFri Apr 27, 2018 9:03 pm

V15 Beta 2 is so much fun and quite stable on my system. Hats off to the BM team.

BUT..

I use a dual screen system with the edit page timeline on the right.
Up to this version is was always possible to see simple VU meters without selecting the mixer. These wer pinned toi the RHS of the edit timeline.
I am old school and like to see the levels as I edit.
Now, if I wish to check the levels, I need to activate the mixer.
The mixer display, just to show "meters", now takes up at least 50% of the left screen with all my source thumbnails.
Furthermore it is pinned to the LHS of the left monitor, almost a full 100cm from the RHS of the right screen at the end of the edit timeline.

Please bring back the simple VU meters without having to activate the mixer module.

Thanks BM for software that is fun to use and super productive.

Or have a selection to pin the mixer to the other screen

It's a bit too small for my old eyes, but if it were clickable to make it full size, I'd be happy.
