Noise Reduction controls in inspector need spacing

PostTue May 01, 2018 7:00 am

The noise reduction (NR) control window divides the control of noise reduction into 3 major areas:

* Detection
* Smoothing
* Output

Which is fine, however, in the inspector, these are all lined up next to eachother without any grouping whatsoever. Worse even, they're not aligned the same way as in the NR window:

Inspector shows a list of controls starting with "Dry/Wet" which is an output metric. This appears first on the list, followed by "makeup" which corresponds to "Output Level" in the NR window.

Inspector window:
Sensitivity -> Treshold -> Attack -> Attack Ratio

NR window
Threshold -> Attack -> Sensitiviy -> Ratio

In my view, these should be more consistent:
* make sure they're ordered the same way NR Window/Inspector window
* make sure they're NAMED the same way in both
* If you don't have space for a group name (Detection, Smoothing, Output) in the inspector window, at least make sure you add a blank line between the controls that belong together.
