I have a project I was working on in Resolve and started experimenting with the Fusion page and some 3D text. I was in the Resolve page, playing back the fusion clip and Resolve crashed. Since then, every time I try to open my project Resolve crashes! Now I am completely locked out of my project! And tomorrow was the one day this week I am able to spend all day on it
Things Ive tried all unsuccessfully, all with crashes when opening the project:
- Exporting a .DRP and re-importing it into a new database
- Applying different project settings to the project and opening it
- Tried various GPU settings, CUDA, OpenCL. Disconnected the eGPU entirely (still crashes)
- Ensured CUDA drivers are up to date, which they are. But it appears not to be a GPU issue.
- Checked Always Run Fusion on CPU
- Tried Opening an exported .drp in Resolve 14 (incompatible)
- Tried opening Resolve with Administrator Priviledges
- Upgraded to High Sierra (Didnt work, so Downgraded back to 10.12.16)
- Tried opening the .drp on a fully loaded 12-core MacPro (2013) running 15b2
- Tried downgrading to 15b2 and opening the .drp (crashed immediately after loading project)
Im thinking a big part of the problem is that it crashed with the playhead on the problematic fusion clip. So now everytime it tries to open, it tries to play that effect and crashes. Please! Any help is much appreciated! Being completely locked out of my project is a huge pain.
