an i use PC dongle on MAC

Hi all.

New forum member, had DR for about 4 years.

My PC has fizzed out and I cant seem to open DR Studio on my mac laptop using my Dongle. I bought this at a time when DR was supplied in a DVD case with SW about 4 years ago.

Are dongles platform specific?

My dongle works on both my PC and Mac. At least I remember it that way:)

Are you sure you've downloaded the studio version to your mac and not the free version? I made that mistake once. If you have both the free and studio version on your mac try uninstalling the free version and see if that works. You might need to uninstall all versions and then make sure you install the studio version.
