What spec do you have to run particles real time in 3d

PostFri May 11, 2018 8:35 pm

I have i7 4790k 1080ti overclock 32gb ram ddr3 2 ssd and I can't run real time in fact it either cashing for like 20s each change or if you want use as a mesh it crashes.
The reason I ask that question is that I want that. Here what I'm thinking
AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X 16-Core Processor CPU
ASUS PRIME X399-A AMD Threadripper TR4 DDR4 M.2 U.2 X399 EATX HEDT Motherboard with USB 3.1 Gen2, AURA Sync RGB Lighting and 3D Printing Mounts
64 ram ddr4 any speed
that comes at the cost so if is essential I will buy another 1080ti.
Is it important to buy exact model and make or any 1080 ti would do?
Please guys any reply would be a gold to me

I don’t think you’ll get a simple answer, since this depends too much on the kind and number of particles.

But if this is very important to you, get AE too with Particular. AE is not really 3D, some like to call it 2.5D, but Particular is impressive with any decent GPU.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.

Maybe better to post this in the Fusion forum?
