I have searched the forum and haven't really found the exact problem I'm dealing with
I'll start by saying I'm a total newbie and not a professional. I'm working on a personal project and Resolve has been awesome with everything except:
I am experiencing this strange color shift within individual clips in my project. It is stark, and clear (clearer than in the compressed screenshots below) in all the workspaces and any exported files.
Here's the issue in the images below. Keep in mind this is from one frame to the next in the exported file, and not a change from what I see in DRes and the overall color in the exported video (which the posts I've found in the forum are talking about).
Almost every time (there are a few) there is a noticeable color flicker happening a few frames before and then a sharp change in the color and contrast of the clip.
NOTES:
—HARDWARE: iMac 2013/NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M 1024 MB
—ORIG FILES were 1920X1080 H.264, Linear PCM PAL (1-1-6)
—EXPORT settings: 1920X1080 QTProRes422 30fps
—DATA LEVEL Settings: I tried these set to Video and Full in both Master and Export and the result was the same.
—This does not happen on EVERY clip. Just a few, but they seem completely random.
—I have tried setting both my iMac and DVResolve color profiles to sRGB
—I have done NO color correction on any clips.
—There are NO transitions, fadeins/outs on any clips(there are for the audio)
—There is no automation on these clips nor are there clips on video tracks above or below.
—I have inserted plugins on some FAIRLIGHT tracks
That's all the pertinent info I can think of. Happy to supply more if needed.
If anyone has any idea whatsoever I would love to hear it.
