Video transitions result in black space, not a transition

I have a feeling a lot of these "bugs" are being caused by that awful Windows 10 update. This didn't happen before, but now when I apply a transition between clips, no matter which transition, all I get is a black space between clips. This literally started happening in the middle of my project, so I seriously doubt it's a Davinci Resolve bug. It started after this last abomination from hell update for Windows 10.

EDIT: I read where you should keep data levels at "Video" at all times so I switched it from Auto to Video. That was the cause of the transitions not working, for some odd reason. When I switched back to Auto they worked properly again. Maybe that's a bug as well?
