We Suck Less releases Reactor 2.0 update for Blackmagic Design Fusion and DaVinci Resolve.
VANCOUVER, BC - 22 May 2018. Created by the We Suck Less Fusion community (WSL), Reactor is a free and open source package manager for Fusion and DaVinci Resolve. Reactor streamlines the installation, distribution and management of third party content for Fusion through the use of "Atom" packages that are synced with an online Git repository. With Reactor, third party Fusion content such as Scripts, Fuses, Macros, Templates and Titles can be installed with a click of a button, rather than having to manually download, copy and edit individual files.
In the 4 months since its first release, the original Reactor Installer became the most downloaded file ever on We Suck Less. It's proven to be a terrific resource, and user feedback has been amazingly positive. Now with support for DaVinci Resolve 15, odds are that record will soon be shattered again.
Reactor 2.0 support for DaVinci Resolve is only the tip of the iceberg. It also bring substantially shorter startup times and improved error handling and logging. A new Status column shows compatibility with the host application and several new tools have been created to aid with managing local tool installs. A full change log is available on We Suck Less.

Highlights of available content in Reactor's update release include a new "Resolve Essentials" atom that makes it easier to use DaVinci Resolve 15 by restoring several key missing Fusion Standalone features and a new MediaOutUltra node allows for writing multi-channel EXR imagery and other formats to disk directly inside of the Fusion page. The Atomizer package editor receives an update as well with a redesigned GUI and improved atom editing features including command line support. A new "Notepad++ for Fusion" atom provides an easy to install version of Notepad++ that works with Syntax Highlighting for Fusion's standard file formats, and a new "Sqlite3" atom makes it possible to read the raw data stored in a DaVinci Resolve 15 project file database from the command prompt and in scripts.
