Hoping someone can help me!
I'm using DaVinci Resolve 15.0.08.030 on Windows 10, Speakers Realtek(R) Audio and having real trouble with audio.
Resolve has been working fine for me, then reopened after a few days and there is no audio when I import new footage into a new project or on any of my old projects. There's no waveforms in fairlight (for new project, but still showing for old), and no audio is showing in the meters in any projects. Audio isn't playing on any page.
I've tried a few different fixes...
-Making sure audio isn't muted on any of the pages
-Making sure my computers sound settings match (16bit 48000)
-Changing settings in Preferences > Video and Audio I/O from Manual to System
-Restarting both resolve and computer
-Changing settings in Settings > Playout and back again
Nothing seems to work. Audio was working perfectly when I last used resolve earlier this week, closed down and reopened today, so it can't be because I have changed any settings within Resolve. Have put everything back to as it was before trying all the above fixes, so my current preferences are now back to Manual, Realtek Audio, Stereo with both speakers assigned.
