Transitions effects

PostTue Jun 05, 2018 4:55 pm

Hello all,

Do you think it is possible to achieve that Kind of transitions natively in DR 14 or 15, or is there any existing FX plungin that could accelerate the process to get that kind of result?

Video link:

Just wondering how it could be handled in Resolve.

Hey Benoit

You could probably work a bit and build something similar using inspector, keyframes and basic Resolve FX (then copy - paste attribute it to other clips).
Or you can look into Red Giant Universe... its relatively not expensive, has a bunch of cool transitions and they are all quite customize-able. nice addition to the Resolve tool box

Hello Hector,

Thanks for your reply.
I went through a process like you said to achieve that kind of transition, and only using DR without any additional plugin, as seen on the other link below: ( I'm not using Sapphire Plugin, I just used the second and the third case scenario )

The only things, I did not get good result with is using the copy and paste attributes for that kind of video transition, and I need to build those transitions each time one by one, and it is really time consuming.

I wondering if it's possible to create my own plugin or template directly in DR14, that i could use later on like any DR standard transitions, or if there is any existing one that could make a similar job ?
I will give a look to Red Giant Universe to see if it can accelerate the process

So far it does the job, but it's a long process if you have many in your projects.
